Loring Roasting & Tasting - April 17

This 2-hour class is designed for roasters who want to better understand the Loring and how convection, hot air roasting compares to traditional drum roasting.

We’ll start with a walkthrough of the Loring, covering its mechanics and overall design. Then we’ll roast a couple batches together, talking through what’s happening in real time.

After roasting, we’ll taste the same coffee roasted on the Loring alongside that coffee roasted to a similar profile on a drum roaster, giving you a clear sense of how different roasting styles impact flavor.

A demo-focused class with a hands-on tasting component, built for those who already have a foundation in roasting.
