Tailwind Roasting is hosting Chicago’s first Q Grader Course and Exam— a six‑day professional certification program that prepares and administers the full Q Grader exam series. Sucessful candidates will recieve their Q Grader License at the end of the program. Led by veteran instructor Todd Arnette, this course blends lectures, cuppings, sensory calibration, and guided practice to build mastery of the Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) system.

Upon purchase, Participants will recieve further communications from both Tailwind Roasting and Todd including information packets with pre-reading materials and suggested preparation guides.
Enrollment is limited to 18 students to ensure a high‑quality, hands‑on learning environment.
To reserve your seat, Tailwind requires a 50% deposit ($900) at checkout. The remaining 50% balance ($900) is due Sunday, July 19 — the day before class begins.
You will receive an invoice and payment link for the final balance.
Deposits are refundable until July 6 (minus 3% cc transaction fees)
After July 6, the $900 deposit becomes non‑refundable
If you cancel after July 6 but before July 19, any additional payments (beyond the deposit) will be refunded
